Vanessa Lachey expressed shock and disappointment over the cancellation of her show “NCIS: Hawaii.”
43 year old actress Starred as Special Agent in Charge Jane Tennant in the Hawaii-based “NCIS” spinoff and made history as the franchise’s first female lead when the crime procedural premiered in 2021.
On Friday, news broke that “NCIS: Hawaii,” which is currently airing its third season, will not be returning for a fourth season. Lachey shared his reaction in a post on his Instagram Story on Friday night.

“Mahalo nui loa,” Lachey said, which translates to “thank you very much.”

Along with Lachey, other cast members and show co-creators Christopher Silber and Matt Bosack expressed their disappointment on social media. Cancellation of the series.

Antoon, who played cyber intelligence specialist Ernie Malik, shared a news story about the cancellation in an Instagram post, writing, “This business is cruel and it makes no sense. But we had a lot of fun. Thank you all. Love and palaces.”
“It was a lot of fun while it lasted!” Mills, who played Tennant’s second in command Jesse Boone, wrote over a photo of a sunset in Hawaii.
He added, “I will miss so much about making this show. I am incredibly grateful for the memories and the wonderful people on the great island of Oahu, Hawaii, for allowing us to come here, live, play. Can’t thank you enough.” Work and grow in such a special place.”

Meanwhile, angry fans of “NCIS: Hawaii” started a petition urging CBS to save Display On Change.com.
