Bayley’s wrestling career accomplishments | WWE News

1) Bayley did not win Hell in a Cell

Her first appearance at WrestleMania came at WrestleMania 33, where she successfully defended her Raw Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, and Nia Jax.
In 2024, Bayley won the women’s Royal Rumble match and challenged her former Damage CTRL teammate Io Sky for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40. Unfortunately, their match did not close the show. Bayley has openly expressed her desire to headline WrestleMania before the end of her career, a milestone she certainly deserves.

6) Bayley has never claimed victory alone in the Elimination Chamber match

Although Bayley didn’t regain the Raw Women’s Championship in that match, she did achieve a milestone a year later by becoming one of the first WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions with Sasha Banks. However, Bayley has yet to win an Elimination Chamber match alone.

7) Dave Meltzer doesn’t consider Bayley a five-star match

Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter has been a staple in wrestling journalism for over four decades. Meltzer rates wrestling matches, but Bailey has never received a five-star rating from him in her entire career.
Meltzer gave the memorable NXT Women’s Championship match between Bayley and Sasha Banks at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn 4.5 stars. Similarly, some of Bayley’s WWE Women’s Championship matches in 2024 also received 4.5-star ratings. Although many fans believed that Bayley and Sasha Banks’ Hell in a Cell match deserved five stars, Meltzer did not give it that rating.

8) Bayley has not participated in any TLC match

Bayley competed in the 2019 women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, where she was victorious and quickly cashed in her contract that same night to defeat Charlotte Flair, capturing the SmackDown Women’s Championship. At Extreme Rules 2022, Bayley and Bianca Belair made history as the first women from the main roster to compete in a ladder match for Belair’s Raw Women’s Championship.
Despite her experience in ladder matches, Bayley was unable to defeat Belair in that championship bout, with Belair retaining her title. Although Bayley has proven herself in ladder matches, she has yet to participate in a TLC match, a match in which she could potentially do well.

9) Bayley was never called the Queen of the Ring

The Queen of the Ring tournament is a very prestigious competition. In 2024, the winner will receive a championship match at SummerSlam. Bayley has not yet participated in any Queen of the Ring tournament. She was ruled out in 2021 due to an ACL injury, which forced her out of the competition.
Although the tournament was supposed to return in 2023, it was postponed and eventually held in 2024. If the Queen of the Ring tournament were to take place in 2023, Bayley would be an ideal contender. If she wins the tournament, Bayley will join the ranks of other iconic winners like Edge, Sheamus and Brock Lesnar who have won major WWE events like the Royal Rumble, King of the Ring and Money in the Bank.

10) Bayley did not have success in cage matches

The feud between Bayley and Becky Lynch was exciting, as both are key members of the Four Horsewomen. Their rivalry was so strong that it didn’t need the Women’s Championship to make it even more important. Unfortunately, their steel cage match was removed from Raw 30, and they didn’t get a chance to compete on that episode.
However, a few weeks later, the former WWE Women’s Champions showed their skills in the ring. Lynch emerged victorious, while Bayley suffered a major defeat as WrestleMania 39 approached.
