“The claim that our mother wrote a book is absolutely false. She did not. And anyone claiming to have the manuscript is misrepresenting themselves,” he wrote. “Please understand that any so-called ‘friends’ speaking on behalf of our mother or her family are not friends. Nor do they have her best interests in mind.”

“When we lost our mother our lives were shattered. She was our world. And nothing has been the same since she left. While it is very difficult to comprehend how she was taken from us so soon, the cause of her death has long been known,” they wrote. “There was no wrongdoing. Grief is a lifelong process. And we ask that everyone respect our request for peace as we struggle with her loss every day.”
Porter, who had been estranged from Combs for several years at the time of his death, found dead He died at his home in November 2018. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office later confirmed that he died from lobar pneumonia.

“We are deeply saddened that the world has made a spectacle of the most tragic event of our lives,” her children added. “Our mother deserves to be remembered as a beautiful, strong and loving woman. Her memory should not be tainted by horrific conspiracy theories.”

Earlier this month, a book, “Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey for Justice, From the Other Side…” was released by publisher Chris Todd. The 59-page manuscript, reportedly written by Porter before her death, included abuse claims and a detailed depiction of her sexual relationship with Combs.
“Kim Porter’s ‘memoir’ is bogus,” Combs’ attorney Erica Wolf told Fox News Digital. “It’s also outrageous — a shameless attempt to profit from a tragedy. Chris Todd has no respect for Ms. Porter or her family, who deserve better. Contrary to the fabricated claims made in his disgusting ‘memoir,’ it is an established fact that Ms. Porter died of natural causes. May her soul rest in peace.”

Al B Sure! spoke about Porter in a lengthy post on Instagram on Monday and alleged that her death was a “tragic murder.” Al B Sure!, who was married to Porter for a year, called for an investigation into her death.
