Hours before departure from Tadepalle for Tirupati, Jagan decided to cancel his visit amid growing demand and security concerns to deliver a ‘declaration of confidence’.

Notice to leaders on temple visit: Reddy

The YSRCP had alleged that the state police, under the orders of Chandrababu Naidu And minister Nara Lokesh had issued a warning to YSRCP leaders ahead of Reddy’s visit and directed them not to participate.
After canceling his visit, Reddy held a press conference in which he said that the police were “issuing notices to YSRCP leaders and cadres in view of my Tirumala visit”.
“The police have clearly stated in the notice to YSRCP leaders that there is no permission to visit Tirumala… Why do we need police permission to visit the temple?” “Demons are ruling” the state, Reddy said.
“Demon rule continues in the state. The government is trying to hinder my upcoming visit to the Tirumala temple. The police have issued a notice to YSRCP leaders across the state regarding the temple visit. The notice said that the Tirumala temple “Travel is not permitted, and the event organized by the YSRCP does not have the necessary clearance, as a result, the leaders are not allowed to attend that event,” the YSRCP chief said.

‘Belonging to the community of humanity’

“On one hand, they are serving notices to obstruct my temple visit, while on the other hand, BJP workers are coming to the state from other places, and police have been deployed in large numbers at many places. I don’t know. Is BJP leadership aware of this? To shift the political focus, CM Chandrababu Naidu is showing that animal fat has been used in the preparation of Laddu Prasadam. Raises questions on sanctity and dignity is Chandrababu Naidu clearly lying on TTD Laddu Prasadam,” the former chief minister told the media after canceling his visit.
The YSRCP chief had said he would visit the temple on September 28 as part of the statewide temple rituals to atone for the ‘sin’ allegedly committed by CM Naidu through his allegation on Tirupati laddu by the party. has called.

He further said: “Many questions have been raised about my caste. I read the Bible at home, and I respect and practice Hinduism, Islam and Sikhism. I belong to the community of humanity. Constitution What does it say? If a person equal to the Chief Minister is not allowed to go to the temple, I question how Dalits will be treated.”

Reddy defends ghee tender process

Defending the ghee procurement process, Reddy said: “CM Chandrababu Naidu is lying. Ghee procurement e-tender is a regular process which has been happening every 6 months for decades. Tirupati laddu is very special. I I know this is very special. The tender process happens every 6 months, it has been happening for years.
“Every 6 months, tenders (for laddus) are called and the one who bids the lowest price is approved by the TTD board. There is no government interference in this. The TTD board is also very particular. Union Minister and CMs of other states also recommended that TTD tenders were called regularly and tenders were given to the suppliers. TTD should have a strong mechanism to certify the tankers. Submit the letter,” the former CM said.
“During the Chandrababu Naidu regime, about 14-15 times from 2014 to 2019, ghee was rejected due to quality issues. There is a robust process. Similarly from 2019 to 2024, 18 times it was rejected and returned. Sent. What I am saying is all the facts,” Reddy said.

‘Adultured ghee was not used’

“Four tankers failed tests in July during Chandrababu Naidu’s regime in 2024. Samples of those tankers were supposed to be sent to CFTRI Mysore, but instead, they were first sent to NDDB in Gujarat. TTD issues show cause notice. The company responsible for the rejected tankers was not used by TTD, yet Chandrababu Naidu claims that adulterated ghee was used. I question if the tankers were sent back. How could adulterated ghee be used in making Prasad?” Reddy said.
“The TTD executive officer recruited by Chandrababu Naidu confirmed on July 23 that vegetable fat i.e. vegetable oil was involved and a show cause notice was issued to the suppliers. The TTD EO later confirmed on September 20 that the adulterated ghee was not “Chandrababu Naidu, even after the EO submitted the report, is spreading false allegations about our party and Hindu sentiments and the sanctity of Tirumala Prasad,” Tha Reddy said. ”
