Here are the top five moments from Monday Night Raw (9/30)

1) CM Punk and Drew McIntyre met inside Hell in a Cell

CM Punk and Drew McIntyre finally met inside Hell in a Cell before their HIAC match at Bad Blood. This moment has been a long time coming and has to be one of the most electrifying and anger-filled promos we’ve seen recently. Punk and McIntyre could not be trusted to be alone with each other, so Adam Pearce made the smart decision to separate the two by deploying security inside the cell.
Both McIntyre and Punk have promised to cause each other a lot of pain, with McIntyre even saying that his wife will leave him after seeing Punk’s condition after the match. On the other hand, The Best in the World was also confident that he would punish McIntyre and get the victory at Bad Blood 2024. Seeing the hatred between McIntyre and Punk for each other is reason enough to join Bad Blood.

2) Xavier Woods unmasks Rey Mysterio

After last week’s argument with Rey Mysterio, Xavier Woods finally had to settle scores with him. This was a match in which Mysterio performed well, even though he lost. Ray dominated for most of the match and held on with Xavier Woods until the end.
However, while going for the slam, Woods grabbed Rey Mysterio’s mask and ripped it off his face. Ray, who was busy hiding his face, could not fight back and Woods won by pinning him. Overall, this was one of the better matches tonight and deserves a spot on our list.

3) R-Truth returns to WWE Raw

WWE legend R-Truth has finally returned to WWE wwe raw tonight. Moments after returning, Truth rejoined his tag team partners The Miz and Braun Strowman after interrupting a conversation between them. Truth informed Miz that he got him a match against AOP, however, the match did not turn out the way R-Truth had expected.
Shortly after The Miz and R-Truth entered the ring against AOP, Truth found himself surrounded by his opponents. He somehow survived the attack and tagged in The Miz in hopes of getting some rest on the sidelines, but his partner had other plans. Miz entered the ring and within moments he turned heel and attacked R-Truth leaving him to deal with AOP alone. The return of R-Truth and seeing The Miz turn heel was easily one of the best moments of the night.

4) Seth Rollins returns during Bronson Reed vs. Braun Strowman

Seth Rollins has been missing from WWE since the Raw episode after SummerSlam 2024. Rollins took an extended leave of absence after being attacked by Bronson Reed, who hit six consecutive tsunami splashes on Rollins. Reed attacked Rollins so brutally that Rollins kept spitting blood after the attack.
Well, Rollins finally recovered and made his much-awaited return to WWE tonight. He appeared during the brutal Last Monster Standing match between Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman. Before Rollins arrived, Reed was putting up a good fight and could have won. However, Rollins arrived at just the right time and hit Bronson with his signature Stomp to ensure that Braun Strowman would be the last man standing.
From the entertaining battle between Bronson and Braun to the amazing comeback of Rollins, this match had it all and was one of the best moments of the night.

5) Jey Uso made his debut as WWE Intercontinental Champion

After spending four years in WWE, Jey Uso finally managed to win his first singles title during last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. Tonight, one week later, Jey finally made his debut as WWE’s Intercontinental Champion. Jay’s entrances are always entertaining and manage to get the crowd on their feet, but tonight was a little different than usual.
Uso began his entrance backstage with some fans and then walked down the stairs into the stands and headed to the ring. It was clear to see how happy Jay was to be champion, and the crowd’s reaction also showed that the fans were happy for him. Seeing Jey Uso finally get his flowers after so many years was easily one of the better moments of the night.
