Lake blasts Biden-Harris’ ‘double whammy’ policies impacting Arizonans: ‘Driven us over the cliff’

Arizona GOP Senate candidates Kari Lake He told Fox News Digital that illegal immigration has disproportionately affected his state’s residents, which he said would create a “double whammy” that would result in a GOP victory in the state in November.

“I think most Americans feel they’ve pushed us right over the edge, over the cliff,” Lake told Fox News Digital about the Biden-Harris administration’s policies. “And we’re hoping we can get it back in November and that’s what we plan to do. But our polling shows that the economy is really hurting everybody. The border is hurting everybody.” Still working.”

Lake explained to Fox News Digital that the current administration’s border policies have disproportionately harmed Arizona, particularly in terms of housing costs.

,It’s basic supply and demand,” Lake said. “With 21 million people coming in, even if you see the projections that Joe Biden and Kamala are giving, which is 10 million, they’re going to have to live somewhere. They are living in houses, apartments, and hotels, and they are taking away housing opportunities for Americans and driving up prices. Because right now, when you have a very limited supply of housing, which we do, we have not built enough houses and apartments over the last 20 years to meet the demand. So now suddenly, you add 21 million people, you have a supply and demand issue. You find that you don’t have enough supply and your demand is too high.,

Lake continued, “We know that these people who are coming into our country illegally, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are holding hands and saying, yes, please come in and we can get you housing, federal subsidies. They’ll supply the housing, which means you and I are paying for it, and we’ll give you an ID card with thousands of dollars per month to pay for it. They don’t have the living expenses like the Americans. Expenses have gone up so they can take these jobs at lower wages than the going rate, which takes Americans’ salaries and hourly wages and depresses or pushes them down, so it’s a double whammy and it really hurts Arizona. Particularly affecting.

On inflation, Lake pointed showing data Phoenix was once the most affected city in the country.

,“I talk to more Arizonans than anyone else in the entire country,” Lake told Fox News Digital. “I think my relationship with the people of Arizona is better than anyone else in the country and those conflicts. Are doing.” You know, I’m sad to see families and people who are retiring or retiring, Arizona used to be an affordable state, not so much anymore, now who’s telling me, Kari, I should ever Never had to go to any food bank in my life. In fact, I used to donate to food banks. Now I go there every two weeks to fulfill my needs. I can’t even afford basic things. “It breaks my heart because the people of this state are incredible, hard-working people.”

,They don’t deserve it and they don’t want to ask for any help, but they’re working as hard as they ever have. Some of them are working two jobs and don’t have enough hours in the day. They can’t work harder than before and still aren’t making ends meet. So it is very painful for the people and it is painful for me also because I really love the people of the state very much.,

Lake, who is running for Senate against Dem. Rep. Ruben Gallego, who he says is responsible for supporting the Harris-Biden immigration and inflation records, told Fox News Digital that he believes Republicans will be defeated in November as a result of those policies. Will get success.

,The main issues we’re facing as a country seem to come through Arizona one way or another and that’s why I feel so comfortable that we’re going to win this because, well “First of all, we’re registering voters on the left and the right,” Lake said.

“People are saying, yes, we’re voting, we’re going to be Republicans. People who were never Republicans before are now registered Republicans… We’re calling people who haven’t voted in many elections People who probably didn’t turn out in the last 4 or 5 elections, I think they’re called low propensity voters and we’re asking, are you going to vote and they’re saying, ‘Hey, Yes, I’m going to vote. I’m going to vote right now. This is the first election I’ve voted in.” But it really matters. I think if we don’t get this right as a free America, this is our last election.”
