Rancher turned reality star Steve McBee shares his thoughts on how to make explosives Popularity of “Yellowstone” has ignited a Western cultural phenomenon.

The 52-year-old entrepreneur is the founder and owner of McBee Farms & Cattle, a 40,000-acre farming and ranching empire in Missouri. McBee stars with his four sons — Steven Jr., Cole, Jesse and Brayden — in the reality series “The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys,” which has been described as a “real-life Yellowstone.”

During an interview with Fox News Digital, McBee reflected on “Yellowstone’s” role in instilling a “longing” for the cowboy lifestyle.

“I think what ‘Yellowstone’ has done … I think ultimately, it’s in our DNA and genetics — farming and ranching. That’s how we survive,” he said. “Food production, cattle raising.

“So, I don’t care if you’re an analyst at a hedge fund on Wall Street. You watch ‘Yellowstone’ and you get this longing. ‘I want to ride a horse’ or ‘I want to drive a tractor, grow crops,'” McBee added.

He said, “‘Yellowstone’ gave it momentum, it was a step towards moving the country forward. I mean, you’re looking at Beyoncé, and you’re looking at everything right now. It feels like the iron is hot in the Western world.”

“Farming, animal husbandry, agriculture are a lot of hot topics. And, so, I think we have a lot of opportunities to educate consumers about what a great job we do for the environment, for the food that everybody eats. And, so, I think we should take the opportunity to use this platform for those purposes as well.”

McBee told Fox News Digital that he rarely watches TV Because his heavy workload doesn’t allow him much free time. However, he said he watched two seasons of “Yellowstone” and a few episodes of another hit reality series to prepare for starring in “The McAbee Dynasty.”

“I actually watched four episodes of it ‘The Kardashians’ He said, “I just wanted to see what reality TV was all about. And I thought, ‘Yeah, I don’t know.’ But I thought I should get a little background.”

While McBee doesn’t have a lot of reality show experience, Steven Jr. starred on the Fox reality dating show “Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer” in 2022. While filming scenes on the family farm, producers became concerned after getting an in-depth look at the family’s interactions and day-to-day life.

After “Joe Millionaire” ended, the McBees were approached by several production companies about creating their own show, and they decided to work with Jeff Jenkins Productions. “The McBees Dynasty” premieres March 11 on USA Network and Peacock.

Speaking to Fox News Digital, McBee praised NBC, Peacock, and Jeff Jenkins Productions for giving the family a lot of freedom during filming. Chain.

One thing I will say — I’ve said this many times — I think that after some of the shows I’ve seen, we’re the most realistic reality show, because what happened on that show was real. “We’ve been saying for years that we’re really a reality show,” he recalled. “I mean, everything that happens to us, all the businesses and the farm and the ranch and all the personalities. You can’t imagine the things that happen to us on a day to day basis.

“I think the authenticity of our show — I don’t know how there could be a more real show than that.

“I’m not taking anybody to the train station, but we’re getting close,” he joked, referring to the euphemistic term “Yellowstone.” Dutton Family It is used for the place where they kill their enemies and dispose of their bodies.

“But there are definitely more pros to it,” he said. “There are definitely more pros than cons to it. You know, there are challenges that a lot of people don’t face in their day-to-day business because they don’t have that personal relationship. But that personal relationship is what brings all the value and makes it so worthwhile at the end of the day, no matter what happens during work hours.”

In addition to focusing on the family’s business dealings, “The Macbeth Dynasty” also highlights the family’s complex financial dealings. love life About McBee and his sons. “The divorce happened after 28 years,” McBee said. “My (sons’) mother is the mother of all four of our sons. I will love her until the day I die, but I don’t want to be in a committed relationship. I don’t want to get married again. I just don’t understand it. I don’t want any more children.

“So, now for me, it’s very circumstantial. That’s my situation. You know, I get some hate on it. I’m not discouraging anybody else By marriage. “I’m just saying this for myself,” he said.

“I want to be open and honest. I won’t lie to a woman. And I just lay my cards out.”

“The person you choose to be the mother of your children is a big decision,” he said. “Don’t do it on a whim. There’s a difference between lust and love. And we all have someone. That woman was what we wanted, but maybe she wasn’t the best mother for our children. So be patient. Choose wisely.”
