Author and evangelist Jonathan Kahn didn’t plan to write his latest book, “The Dragon’s Prophecy: Israel, the Dark Resurrection, and the End of Days.” Instead, as he told Fox News Digital in an on-camera interview, current events simply forced his hand.
“I was kind of disrupted by whatever it was that happening in the middle east,” Kahn said in a video interview from New Jersey. Kahn is the leader of Beth Israel/The Jerusalem Center in Wayne, New Jersey, a Messianic congregation. (Watch the video at the top of this article.)
While Kahn has written other books, he has “never written a book that goes so deeply into Bible prophecy that is coming true now – that whole area of what’s happening,” he said.

ear started I am writing a book In January; It was released on 3 September. The process of writing “The Dragon’s Prophecy” was different for him than writing his other books, he said.
While he was writing it, “things were coming true,” he said. “That’s why I had to keep updating the book.”

Shortly after its release, it hit the bestseller list, with Kahn telling Fox News Digital that he did not expect this to happen. (His first book, “The Harbinger,” became a New York Times bestseller, as did his other books.)
In regards to the new book, he said, “There’s been a real appetite. We’ve never seen a reaction like this.” “It’s different.”

He said, “I had no idea that what was written in the Bible was actually coming true, beginning with the resurrection of Israel.”
“The enemy is depicted as a dragon in the book of Revelation.”
“It says (in the Bible) that this is going to happen,” he said. “‘They are going to be gathered, the Jewish people from the ends of the earth, and it is going to be one nation again.’ Well, here we are.”
The title “The Dragon’s Prophecy” is a reference to the Book of Revelation, Kahn told Fox News Digital. “In the book of Revelation the enemy is depicted as a dragon,” he said.
In Revelation 12, a dragon is “making war against a woman,” Kahn said.

Some people, including Kahn, interpret woman as Israel’s representation,
“This is what is happening right now,” he said.
Kahn has written about this prediction in his book.
“The biggest part, or the largest section, of ‘The Dragon’s Prophecy’ is called ‘The End of Days,'” he said.
“And the Bible talks about something called the end of days, really from the time of Moses all the way to the New Testament,” Kahn said.
While the Bible also says that no one will know “the day or the hour” that Christ will return, it also says that there will be certain signs to look for, signs that Kahn says are occurring.
“It says on the one hand you will know it, because the nation of Israel will return to the world – which will have been dead for ages – (it) will be gathered back. The Jewish people will return to the land. Well, it has happened,” He said.
Kahn continued, “It says that the Jewish people will return to the city of Jerusalem. By the way, that happened in 1967.”
“It says the focus of all countries will be on the Middle East.”
The Second Coming of Christ, he said, “cannot happen without the Jewish people living in Jerusalem.”
“One more thing. It says that all the nations will focus on the Middle East and focus on this little New Jersey-sized land of Israel – and the nations will rage against the Jewish people, rage against Israel.”
“It’s happening,” he said — noting a rise in anti-Semitism over the past year.

“So the point is, you have a checklist. We can check off all these things,” Kahn said.
“We don’t know the exact moment (Jesus Christ will return), but we know the season, and we’re in it.”

Kahn said he wants people to know that the Bible makes clear who will win this battle in the end.
He said, “You know, for 4,000 years the world has been trying to destroy the nation of Israel, the Jewish people – the dragon, the enemy.”

Despite this, Jewish people have survived – and anyone who has tried to destroy them, from ancient to modern times, “is all gone,” Kahn said.
“And so, if you follow the God of Israel, you follow Jesus, the Messiah of Israel, you will survive. You will prevail,” he said.
