Two candidates spend so much time and energy discrediting and slandering each other that you can’t really cover this campaign without delving deeply into it. Even when the accusations and counter-accusations are false, misleading or based on something Digital manipulation,
Trump’s lead won’t budge: Why these debates could be Biden’s last chance
let’s start with Joe Biden’s The so-called “frozen” moments, at least according to his critics. The trash-talking counts: this man has really gone mad, always wandering aimlessly.
On Sunday, the campaign released footage of a star-studded L.A. fundraiser that raised $30 million. Barack Obama Waving to the crowd, Biden, 81, pauses for a few seconds to enjoy the loud cheers. He wasn’t surprised or confused, just enjoying the moment.
But what Obama did next is beyond comprehension. He knows that his former vice president has been constantly accused of being weak and confused. Yet he held Biden’s hand and led him down the stage, then put his hand on the president’s back while walking.

Not a single second of that video was distorted in any way. No one had to do that. Everyone could watch it and make up their own mind.
But Karine Jean-Pierre was unusually aggressive in attacking her boss’s doctored video. white HouseThe Biden campaign and its media defenders are trying to convince people that any video that shows the president in an unflattering light is a “deepfake” or “cheapfake,” to use the words of the press secretary. Cheap, maybe, but not always fake.
This effort conflates two very different situations. The New York Post appears to have run a cropped photo of Biden walking in the footsteps of the RNC and staring at the G-7 — when he was actually talking to and giving a thumbs-up to skydivers who landed a few feet away before the Italian prime minister pulled him back to the group of world leaders.

OK, I’ll stop my rant. Media We need to step up our efforts to separate fact from fiction. But most voters don’t have the time to watch a three-minute video and examine it from different angles. They can only look at a five-second clip or a photo.
In the end, perhaps all the attacks cancel each other out. Perhaps people will throw up their hands and not know what to believe. Perhaps, even without AI involved, there will be a fatal erosion of trust in media institutions, which are already widely distrusted.
