On Friday morning, Billy Ray shared a photo of himself holding a young Miley at the CMA Fan Fest. During the event, someone took this picture, which is included in the country music crooner’s post. Billy Ray wrote a poem that day to accompany the photo.
“One of my best memories ever: @cma Fest, when it was Fan Fair,” she wrote in her caption. “This is @mileycyrus and I, surrounded by thousands of incredible fans at the fairgrounds. The next day, someone gave me this photo, and I wrote this poem on the bus.”

Rumors of a feud between Miley and Billy Ray have been circulating in the media for several months. The speculation began when Noah Cyrus did not attend Tish Cyrus’ concert Marries Dominic Purcell in August 2023.
Noah and Braison were absent from their mom’s wedding at the end of the summer. The siblings reportedly spent their mom’s wedding day together, posting a now-expired Instagram Story of an outing at Walmart in which Noah wore a Billy Ray shirt.
Meanwhile, Miley served as her mother’s maid of honor for the special occasion and walked Tish down the aisle during their wedding in Malibu. Brandi and Trace were also in attendance at Tish’s wedding.

“My whole life my mom has been behind the scenes,” Miley told Vogue. “She was always getting me ready for the big days, from cheerleading competitions to eventually being on set or backstage before a performance. She never stopped celebrating me and was very supportive of my decisions. Now that I’m older I feel proud to have been that person for her.”
