“I have been with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department for 32 years. I do not recall any incident where three law enforcement officers were (injured) and three died in the same incident, with one in critical condition and additional People were shot and injured,” he said.

The condition of a CMPD officer remains critical.
