Congress will give 2 lakh permanent jobs, 6000 pension, OPS, 100 sq yard plot, 300 units of electricity, cylinder for Rs 500: Bhupinder Singh Hooda | Chandigarh News

Chandigarh: Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Sunday announced that if the Congress government is formed, free treatment up to Rs 25 lakh will be provided to the people of the state. He said that this scheme was implemented by the Congress in Rajasthan and now it will be implemented in Rajasthan as well. HaryanaWhen Congress forms the government.
Addressing a meeting organised to thank party workers for the Congress’ victory in the Ambala Lok Sabha seat in the recently held Lok Sabha elections, Hooda said that now no poor person will have to beg for money in case of any serious illness in the family, nor will any poor person have to take loan for treatment nor will he have to sell his house or land.
The former Chief Minister said, “The Congress government will take responsibility for their treatment. The Congress had implemented this scheme when it was in power in Rajasthan, it will be implemented in Haryana too.”
He said, “If Congress forms the government, every elderly person will be given a pension of Rs 6000, employees will be given the old pension scheme, gas cylinders will be given for Rs 500 and 300 units of free electricity will be given to get relief from inflation. Also, to curb unemployment, permanent recruitments will be done as per qualifications on 2 lakh vacant posts in government departments of the state. Clean recruitment and paper leak will be ensured by getting rid of paper leak and recruitment mafia.”
On this occasion, State Congress President Chaudhary Udaybhan, newly elected MP Varun Mulana, former minister Nirmal Singh, Ashok Arora, Kailash O Saini, MLA Renubala, MLA BL Saini, Akram Khan, Subhash Chaudhary and many senior party leaders and thousands of workers were present with him. Hooda and Udaybhan thanked the voters of Panchkula for electing Varun Mulana and assured the people that Varun Mulana will raise the issues of Panchkula in the Lok Sabha with the same strength as he has raised the problems of the Mulana assembly constituency in the Vidhan Sabha.
Hooda said that the results of the Lok Sabha elections have made it clear that the Congress government is going to be formed in Haryana, but he appealed to the workers not to sit at home assuming that the victory is certain. He said, “If a popular government in the public interest is to be formed, then do not sit at home for the next 3 months, but stay among the people. Their issues and problems will have to be understood closely, only then will the Congress be able to solve them after forming the government.”
The former chief minister said that now that the BJP is facing defeat, it will copy the Congress and make many fake announcements. He said, “The BJP has given nothing to the people in 10 years except fear, corruption, crime, drug addiction, unemployment and inflation. This government has also stopped the projects started during the Congress tenure.”
He said, “The people of Panchkula have the example of 100 square yard plots and Dadupur Nalvi Nagar. If the Congress government is formed, the poor, scheduled caste and backward caste families will be given free plots of 100 square yards and the Dadupur-Nalvi project will be restarted. This will benefit not only the present but also the farmers of the coming generations.”
Haryana Congress President Chaudhary Udaybhan said in his address that the leaders and workers of Panchkula have done a great job in the Lok Sabha elections. The unity and hard work they have shown in this election has to be maintained till the assembly elections. In this election, the public has to take revenge from the BJP for the martyrdom of 750 farmers, atrocities on wrestler daughters, lathi charge on every section including farmers-employees-sarpanch-sanitation workers, recruitment scams with the youth, crimes against women and Dalits, losses being suffered by businessmen and the decreasing income of laborers.
He said that BJP has looted thousands of crores of rupees of the public by committing scams like liquor, registry, mining, paddy, rice, recruitment, paper leak, Amrit Yojana. This government has drowned the state in a debt of Rs 4.51 lakh crore. The education, health and law and order that Congress had built with tireless hard work has been ruined by this government. The youth who waved the flag of the country in the world have been pushed into the quagmire of drugs and chitta has been delivered to every house. Due to lack of employment, our youth are migrating to other countries.
The PCC president said that the people of Haryana will forgive the pain caused by all these misdeeds with the power of their votes. He said, “This time in the elections, the BJP should not ask for votes from the people but should apologize.”
Addressing the conference, Varun Mulana expressed his gratitude to the public, the party high command, former Chief Minister Hooda, State Congress President Udaybhan, all the leaders and workers. He said that the people of Panchkula have defeated the arrogance of the BJP and made the Constitution and the policies of the Congress win.
He said, “People want that once again a Congress government should be formed in the state under the leadership of Hooda sahab because they still remember the development work done by the Hooda government in the state.”
He said, “Far from getting any work done in Ambala or setting up any new project, the BJP committed the sin of filling up the Dadupur canal built during the Hooda government. The BJP government has betrayed every section including farmers, labourers, employees, businessmen. That is why all sections are going to wipe out the BJP this time and form the Congress government again.”
