First up on Fox: Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas, White House physician-House lawmakers are demanding in a new letter that President Biden submit to a drug test ahead of his Thursday “CNN Presidential Debate” with former President Trump.

Jackson requested “medically valid drug testing” in a three-page message to Biden and his physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor.

“This drug testing should be conducted immediately prior to and after the debate and should include, but not be limited to, performance-enhancing drugs,” Jackson wrote.

He said the debates “provide the American public with an opportunity to gain critical insight into specific policy positions taken by individual candidates, demonstrate each candidate’s leadership qualities and style, and observe the candidates’ ability to perform in unpredictable and high-pressure environments.”

“The American citizenry should have full confidence in their President’s ability to discharge his duties as Head of State and Commander in Chief, and his performance in the debate should be indicative of the individual’s ability to discharge these important duties without the use of any performance enhancing drugs or mood altering drugs,” the letter states.

He cited a recent Wall Street Journal report that cited interviews with more than 40 people to paint a picture of an 81-year-old leader who is losing his acumen while domestic and foreign problems grow more complex.

Biden and his Democratic allies fiercely disputed the report, calling it a false GOP accusation.

Jackson also referred to special counsel Robert Hur’s interview with Biden regarding his handling of classified documents, when Hur said the jury might view the president as “a sympathetic, well-intentioned, elderly man with a failing memory.”

He then accused Biden of using performance-enhancing drugs during the State of the Union, and said of the president that he was “sweating profusely, yelling at the camera, not blinking, and repeatedly moving his hands rapidly and gesturing.”

Several recent surveys have shown that Biden’s age Top concerns Voters.

a March New York Times/Siena College The poll found that 61% of respondents who voted for Biden in 2020 agreed with the statement, “Joe Biden is too old to be an effective president.”

“President Biden, throughout your term in office, over one hundred Members of Congress have called on you to submit to cognitive testing on five separate occasions, however, you and your physician, Dr. O’Connor, have ignored all of those requests,” Jackson wrote. “President Donald J. Trump set a precedent during his term for documenting and demonstrating the healthy mental abilities necessary to fulfill the duties of the office of the President.”

“Unfortunately, President Biden, your refusal to submit to cognitive testing, and Dr. O’Connor, your unwillingness to address the American people about the President’s true mental and physical fitness for duty, has caused great concern for our country, as Americans are witnessing the continued decline in our President’s cognitive performance.”

President Trump has been the same person his entire life, and there has certainly been no worrisome change. President Trump has offered to have Biden do this in the past.”

White House spokesman Andrew Bates responded to Jackson’s comments by comparing him to a character on “The Simpsons” whose medical practices are considered questionable.
