“Golden Bachelor” winner Theresa Nyst After announcing her divorce from Gerry Turner three months after saying “I accept”, she is choosing to look on the positive side.

On Monday, Nist shared a famous quote by Dr. Seuss on Instagram. The quote reads, “Don’t cry that it’s over, smile that it happened.”

Along with the quote, the reality television star also wrote a long caption in which she thanked her fans for their support during this challenging time.

“To everyone who has shown love, support and kindness to me, I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart. You are all such amazing people,” Nist began her caption. “It means so much to me that you took the time to reach out to me, whether in person, on the phone, via text or direct message. You are all so kind to do so. To everyone else who is confused and angry and doesn’t understand, please find it in your heart to understand and try to show some kindness. Not just to me, but to the world and everyone you meet.”

He added, “It was one of the most incredible experiences of my life, something I never expected would happen at this point in my life and I really thought it would last forever. But it turns out that even at 70 you don’t know everything.”

Nyst added that “sometimes things don’t go the way you planned” and reassured his followers that that’s OK.

“There are so many positive things that I have taken away from this experience, most importantly and above all, the incredible friends I now have in all of these amazing, wonderful women, Angie and Jenny, Payton and Charlie, the producers, production crew and so many of you,” she wrote. “I ask that you please remain open to all the experiences, opportunities and love that comes your way. Keep smiling, keep laughing… I will keep laughing. I love you all.”

Gerry and Theresa went on “Good Morning America” ​​on Friday and during their joint interview they declared that love alone isn’t enough to keep their marriage going.

“We’ve received so much love and support from so many people who have watched ‘The Golden Bachelor,’ and I don’t think we can tell you how many people have told us that it has given them so much hope. We don’t want that to change for anyone,” Nyst said.

“We looked at houses in South Carolina. We considered New Jersey, and we looked at house after house, but we never got to the point where we could make that decision,” Nist said.

“I still love this man. There’s no doubt in my mind, I still love him. I pray for him every day,” Turner said.

“Maybe they don’t live life like a married couple — like a hardcore married couple at this point because they’re already living separately,” Guiney added. “Maybe they just take a few minutes and, I don’t know, try to save this whole thing.”

Bob finished his season with Estella Gardinier in 2003. The former couple did not get engaged during the finale of “The Bachelor” and split shortly after the season ended.
