The Indian cricket fraternity took to social media on Wednesday to wish great Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar on his birthday as he turns 51. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the governing body of the game in the country, has released it. (formerly Twitter) to wish Tendulkar on his birthday.

BCCI Honorary Secretary Jay Shah also wished Sachin all the best and praised him for inspiring millions across the world with his batting and “immaculate display of character”.

India’s World Cup-winning all-rounder Yuvraj Singh also wished Sachin “Paaji” a happy birthday and cited him as one of the reasons why he learned to aim high in life. He also attached a video, praising Sachin for how he supports the youth and how Yuvraj felt fortunate to be associated with and befriend someone who is the “God” of cricket.
“Sachin has a lot of humility and gentleness towards himself and the game. Always helpful and always there for the youngsters. Things were not going well for me. I always looked up to him and he always supported me and was there for me. “It is very difficult for you to connect with someone who has scored 100 centuries because he is like a god to you,” Yuvraj said.

Tendulkar, known as the ‘Master Blaster’ for his ability to blast through any bowling attack and his mastery over every skill, technique and shot, the right-handed batsman has created a whole new world with his batting since 1989. Entertained and enthralled the world. -2013.
Born in Maharashtra, this player made his Test cricket debut on 15 November 1989 at the age of 16. On 18 December the same year, he played his first ODI match.
With 34,357 runs in 664 international matches at an average of 48.52, Sachin is the leading run-scorer in international cricket. He has scored maximum 100 centuries and 164 half-centuries in international cricket. He is the only player to score centuries.
Apart from Test cricket, Sachin has also made many records in ODI format.
With 18,426 runs in ODIs at an average of 44.83, 49 centuries and 96 half-centuries, and 15,921 runs in Tests at an average of 53.78 with 51 centuries and 68 half-centuries, Sachin has the most runs in both the formats. The Master Blaster is also the first cricketer to score a double century in ODIs and play a total of 200 Test matches.
Tendulkar is part of the Indian team that won the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2011. Following the World Cup’s inception in 1992, their dream of winning the prestigious trophy came true in 2011 when India defeated Sri Lanka by six wickets in the final.
Sachin was also a part of the Mumbai Indians franchise as a player from 2008-13 and won the IPL in 2013.
