Fox News Digital found that the D.C. Bar’s website still listed Robert Hunter Biden as “in good standing” and “active” as of Tuesday morning. The page shows he has been licensed to practice law in Washington, D.C., since 2007. Biden earned a J.D. from Yale University in 1996 and previously worked for the law firm Boies Schiller Flexner.
Fox News Digital reached out to Lowell’s office for comment but did not immediately receive a reply.
Biden was convicted of lying about his drug use when purchasing a firearm in 2018. He was found guilty of three charges: making a false statement in a gun purchase, making a false statement relating to information required to be maintained by a federally licensed gun seller, and possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance.

However, prosecutors argued that Biden had a cocaine addiction before, during, and after he purchased the gun. In addition to citing Biden’s memoir, the prosecution team also presented to the jury text messages Biden shared with family and apparent drug dealers to prove his addiction around the time he purchased the gun.

Biden’s three ex-wives testified during the hearing, making the court proceedings emotional at times. Biden’s ex-wife Kathleen Buhle, who was married to his first son for more than 20 years and with whom he has three adult daughters, was among those who testified and told the jury about her experiences with Biden when he was using drugs.
“I was definitely worried and scared,” she said, describing how she searched her car for drugs and drug-related paraphernalia to ensure her daughters didn’t drive while under the influence.
Biden’s ex-girlfriend, Zoe Kesten, also testified last week, helping guide the jury in Biden’s case. widespread drug abuse During their relationship, that included smoking crack in hotel rooms, sneaking into public bathrooms to smoke crack and how she helped procure drugs for him.
