Joan Collins and Elizabeth Taylor were two brunette beauties from England who had one thing in common – Conrad “Nicky” Hilton Jr.
Collins, 91, is speaking in a new BBC documentary, “Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar”, which Executive produced by Kim KardashianIt highlights the life and legacy of the actress, who died in 2011 at the age of 79.

Hilton, the hotel heir, was Taylor’s first husband. The “Cleopatra” icon claimed he was abusive and at one point, he kicked her in the stomach, causing her to miscarry their baby. He died of a heart attack in 1969 at the age of 42.

When Collins was asked if she ever dated Hilton, the ‘Dynasty’ star replied, ‘I did. he was mad.’

According to the outlet, Taylor and Hilton married in 1950 when she was 18 years old.

“I was a little bit of a punching bag,” Taylor can be heard saying in voiceover, as quoted by the outlet. “And then the reality of the world hit me. The reality is that I wasn’t an adult, and I had to grow up really fast.”
The couple got divorced in 1951. Taylor married seven more times, including twice to actor Richard Burton.
Before becoming a movie star, Collins dated actor Warren Beatty in the late 50s. She married her fifth husband, Percy Gibson, in 2002. The producer is 32 years younger than her.

“At first, we were we were very good friends before marriage,” the actress told Fox News Digital in November. “We worked together on a play… We enjoyed each other’s company. We spent time together. And we saw each other the next year. We wrote love letters – it was a gradual thing. And we realized we were exactly on the same wavelength.”
“He’s just a really nice, kind, down-to-earth person,” she shared. “Many of the people I’ve been with – and I’m not going to specify which people – are either neurotic, a little unbalanced, or caught up in different things.”
Critics had previously pointed out the couple’s age difference. But to Collins, it’s “just a number.” She said it’s “never too late” to find love at any stage in life.

“We both feel the same way,” she explained. “And we were friends first, above anything else.”
He said that they both share the same inspiration, which has been part of the secret behind their lasting union.
“I was born with a tremendous zest for life,” she said. “My mother used to say that when I was a kid I never stood still. I would do five different things at once. I would play crossword puzzles, build doll houses, read, paint, spy Tried to become – suddenly!”

“Life is a gift,” she insisted. “That’s why they call it a gift – it’s a gift. And a lot of people waste it. It’s very sad. It’s a gift, and it doesn’t last long.”
Looking back on her life, Collins has no regrets – even after she and Beatty separated. Collins and Beatty started dating They got engaged in 1959 and a year before partition.

“We were both very young, very selfish, very ambitious,” Collins said. “It wasn’t perfect. I mean, I’ve had a lot of relationships. I’ve had a lot of marriages. They don’t last. Luckily, you get older, and I met the man who is the right person for me “I have been together for my entire life and we are very happily married.”
“Breakups happen,” Collins shrugged. “It could be depending on different things.”
