Americans across the country reacted to this Sentencing of Hunter Biden During a hearing in his federal gun case on Tuesday, he offered his opinions on whether justice was done, whether the verdict would impact his vote and the potential clemency his father could receive.

Ronda, a self-described conservative voter from Washington state, said the verdict did not change her decision to vote against President Biden.

Speaking to Fox News Digital in Washington DC, he said: “I’m happy, I think justice has definitely been done.”

Ronda said she didn’t want to be in the position of having to decide whether or not to pardon her son, as President Biden has done. he said he wouldn’t do it,

“I think it would be a very difficult decision as a father, even more so as a president,” he said. “If it were my child, I would want to do everything I could to help them … It would be a difficult situation, and I wouldn’t want to make that decision.”

Hunter Biden was found guilty at his federal trial in Wilmington, Delaware, of making false statements in connection with a gun purchase, making false statements relating to information required to be maintained by a federally licensed gun seller, and possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance.

Speaking in D.C., Chad, an Oregon native, said he had no strong reaction to the verdict, saying the justice system was “doing its job.”

“Any person, whether famous or not, will have to answer to whatever decision the jury makes,” he said. Fox News Digital,

Chad said he’s inclined to support President Biden in November because there’s “the option,” adding that it’s “his son’s behavior, not his.” He said it wouldn’t be fair for Hunter to receive a pardon.

“I don’t think they should or would do that, and I think they want to keep their ties to politics clean,” Chad said.

Bryan, a Maryland native, was not surprised by the decision.

“They have accepted it, so that’s the way it is,” he said.

Bryan said he “wouldn’t expect” President Biden to go back on his word and pardon his son, adding that he doesn’t support him or anyone else running for office in 2024.

He said, “This is his son. He’s family.”

One undecided voter in Knoxville, Tennessee, who is “leaning away from the current administration,” told Fox News Digital that Hunter Biden should face consequences.

“Do the crime, serve the sentence,” he said, adding that he didn’t think it got the same media attention as former President Trump’s New York criminal trial. The presumptive GOP nominee was convicted last month of 34 felony charges of falsifying business documents.

“This should be condemned just as much as Trump’s lawsuit was condemned on social media… Last week it was on every single Instagram page, Facebook, everywhere,” the voter added. “It was very much in the news, but I didn’t know anything about Biden’s lawsuit.”

The man’s friend, a Connecticut resident, is also undecided but supports Trump, believing there should be the same standards for everyone.

He said, “If you commit a crime you will be punished the same as anyone else.”

Melissa, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, told Fox News Digital that the verdict shows that the justice system works and highlights what she called conservative hypocrisy on the subject. New York critics of Trump Strong belief.

“I’m not surprised, because the justice system works, and there’s no right-wing person online right now complaining about how the justice system doesn’t work, now that Hunter Biden has been found guilty,” she said. “I also want to point out that Hunter Biden is not actually running for president, so I just want to make that clear.”

Melissa said President Biden will stick to his promise not to pardon Hunter and that this decision won’t change his vote “at all.”

“I would vote for Biden. If the election was against Trump, I would vote for the refrigerator,” she said.

Steve, also of Milwaukee, said that with Hunter’s sentencing “the rule of law is gone.”

“Justice must be done,” he said, adding that he had not considered whether Hunter would be pardoned but anticipated it would not be the case.

Another Knoxville man who moved around a lot as a child because his father served in the Air Force, he wasn’t surprised by the guilty verdict.

He said, “I think it’s unfortunate that the charges were brought. I practice criminal defense, I’ve been practicing in federal court for over a decade, and I’ve never seen anybody charged like this, and I’ve seen a lot of gun-related charges.”

“It’s unfortunate, but at the same time I understand why he was convicted,” the man said.

One woman born and raised in Knoxville told Fox News Digital her first son had to go through the same thing.

“I think it’s time he was found guilty of something,” he said. “He’s not above the law.”

A Trump supporter from Knoxville, speaking to Fox News Digital, expressed delight at the news.

“Well, great. I think they should do that,” she said, adding that she would not vote for Biden either way.

“The first time I ever sent money to a candidate was when he (Trump) was convicted,” he said. “I thought they were using the law for politics.”

Darrell, a New York native, said Hunter Biden should know better because he “grew up in the law.”

“He needs to understand that this could cause big problems, and his father will suffer the consequences,” Darrell said. Fox News Digital“He obviously doesn’t care about that, so he’ll suffer whatever consequences he has to face.”

He said he would vote no anyway, but he also said it would be wrong for Hunter Biden to receive a pardon.

“He may still love her, but he shouldn’t do this,” Darrell said. “Her son is his own man. He has to admit his mistake. It has nothing to do with Joe.”

Speaking in New York, Bryson said Hunter Biden’s pardon could impact his voting decision.

“I’m not sure it would change my vote, but it would probably affect it a little bit, depending on what he does about it,” Bryson told Fox News Digital.

In Birmingham, Michigan, Terry said Hunter Biden deserves whatever punishment he gets.

“He’s caused a lot of pain to his family,” Terry told Fox News Digital, adding that he doesn’t think President Biden should pardon his son.

“He should be following the laws, not breaking them or calling his dad to protect them,” Terry said, before calling President Biden a “traitor.”

“He’s sucking at the breast of society,” he said. “I don’t understand why these people keep voting for him.”

One Birmingham resident doesn’t believe a conviction will have any impact on his vote.

“Our system is completely corrupt,” he told Fox News Digital.

Adrian, a staunch Biden supporter from Michigan, doesn’t care about Hunter Biden’s conviction.

“I will always vote for Biden over Trump,” he told Fox News Digital.

Hunter Biden faces a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison years for three chargesEach count carries a maximum fine of $250,000 and three years of supervised release. Because it’s a first-time offense, it’s unlikely he’ll face the maximum penalty at sentencing.
