LST vs GT, IPL 2024: Predicted Playing XI and Impact Options

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will host Gujarat Titans (GT) in the 21st match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Sunday, April 7. LSG will be high on confidence after defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 28 runs in their last match under the leadership of KL Rahul.

After registering two wins and one loss, LSG are currently placed fourth in the IPL 2024 standings with four points.

On the other hand, last season’s finalists Gujarat Titans will be aiming to bounce back after suffering a three-wicket defeat against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in their last match.

With two wins and the same number of losses, GT is currently placed seventh in the IPL 2024 standings.

Ahead of an exciting encounter, we take a look at the predicted XIs of both the sides.

Ravi Bishnoi

Ravi Bishnoi could be the key player for LSG against the star-studded GT batting line-up. While Bishnoi has managed just one wicket in three matches, the leg spinner has the qualities to trouble any batsman. He will try to return to form in Lucknow.

Yash Thakur

Yash Thakur is expected to retain his place in LSG’s playing eleven due to the injury to star left-arm fast bowler Mohsin Khan. Thakur was expensive against RCB, conceding 38 runs in his four overs. His aim will be to perform better on Sunday.

Noor Ahmed

Young Afghan spinner Noor Ahmed was once again impressive for GT in their last game. The 19-year-old left-arm spinner finished with figures of 4-0-32-2 against Punjab, dismissing Jonny Bairstow and Prabhsimran Singh. Noor can trouble the LSG batting order.
