“I have great respect for President Biden and am grateful for his decades of service, but if Democrats want to make a change, I hope they will look to a candidate like my Ohio senator, Sherrod Brown,” he said. “We need Senator Brown to remain in the Senate, but if Democrats decide to consider their options, we should look to a leader who can identify with voters across the political spectrum.”

This moment is too critical to do otherwise.”

Wilson, a Columbus native who attended Otterbein University, defeated her primary opponent in March to become her party’s nominee to represent the state’s 4th District in this year’s general election. She will face Jordan, a nine-time GOP popular candidate, on Nov. 5.
