Referring to the Waqf Bill, Shah said at the rally, “You have a problem with the existing law on the Waqf Board… We will amend it in the winter session of Parliament.”
Several opposition leaders had last month alleged that the BJP-led NDA government’s Waqf Amendment Bill was aimed at creating division in the society and asserted that they would strongly oppose it.
Campaigning for party candidates in the Gurugram region, including Rao Narbir Singh from Badshahpur, Shah said every 10th soldier in the army comes from Haryana.
The Union Home Minister said that from Indira Gandhi to Manmohan Singh, the Congress did not fulfill the demand for One Rank One Pension and it was the Narendra Modi government which gave One Rank One Pension in 2015.
Targeting Rahul Gandhi over the Agneepath scheme, Shah described Rahul Gandhi as a “lying machine” and alleged that the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha has claimed that Agniveers will not get jobs.
He said, Agniveer Yojana has been launched to ensure the youth profile of the armed forces.
With the Congress continuously targeting the BJP over the issue, Shah told the gathering, “Don’t hesitate in sending your children to the Army. Haryana and the Center will give pensionable jobs to every Agniveer.”
He said, “After five years you will not find a single Agniveer who will be without a pensionable job.”
On Navratri starting from October 3, Shah said, “While casting your vote on October 5, you will have to answer to Rahul Baba and his party Congress as to who insults Shakti (Goddess).”
He alleged that Congress ‘has become blind in appeasement’.
Taking aim at the Bhupinder Singh Hooda government, he said that the previous Congress governments used to develop one caste and one district.
Shah said, in 2014, the people of Haryana elected the BJP government and similar development has been done in the last 10 years.

He said that if BJP retains power in Haryana, then in five years 5 lakh jobs will be given to the youth on the basis of merit.
Shah alleged that slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” were raised at Congress rallies from Hathin to Thanesar and from Thanesar to Palwal.
He said, “I want to ask Rahul Baba, why are you silent when your party leaders and workers are raising slogans of Pakistan Zindabad? Why don’t you stop them? Congress has become blind in appeasement.”
On the issue of Article 370, Shah alleged that Congress wanted to restore it in Jammu and Kashmir. He said, “Kashmir is our own and as long as the Modi government is there, only the tricolor will wave there.”

The senior BJP leader alleged that when Congress was in power in Haryana, they used to procure only wheat and paddy at MSP, whereas the BJP government has decided that 24 crops will be procured at MSP.
He also talked about the significant increase in MSP for various crops during the BJP government.
Referring to Rahul Gandhi’s recent comment that Congress will think of ending reservations when “India is a fair place”, Shah said as long as the BJP, OBCs and SCs are there, they will not allow the party to touch reservations. .
“The UPA government gave Rs 41,000 crore to Haryana between 2004 and 2014, while the Modi government gave Rs 2.92 lakh crore between 2014 to 2024,” he said.
Voting will be held in Haryana on October 5 and the results will be declared on October 8.
