“We are disappointed by this decision and what appears to be an unfair prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, said in a statement provided to Fox News Digital.
“Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man and proven philanthropist who has built an empire over the last 30 years, loved his children and worked to uplift the Black community. He is an imperfect man, but he is not a criminal. To his credit, Mr. Combs has been cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all of the facts. These are the actions of an innocent man who has nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
On March 25, the music legend’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided in connection with a federal human trafficking investigation, authorities confirmed to Fox News Digital at the time.
