Sean “Diddy” Combs has deleted all of his Instagram posts, including the video apology he shared in May after hotel surveillance footage surfaced of the music legend assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.

On Thursday, all posts were removed from Combs’ verified account, which is followed by nearly 20 million Instagram users. The account is still active and there have been no changes to Combs’ profile photo or bio.

Combs, 54, has not publicly explained why he decided to delete his Instagram feed. TMZ reports, This was confirmed by Fox News Digital through a source, who stated that the rapper’s sole motivation was to reset his social media, which he had done in the past.

Sources told TMZ that the move was not directed at Ventura or anyone else. Additionally, the outlet reported that Combs stands by his statements in the apology video.

TMZ’s sources reported that the clip received global media coverage and was broadcast around the world. The outlet was told that the removal of the clip, along with all of Combs’ other posts, was not intended to diminish his comments in the video.

Insiders also told TMZ that removing the post was not a strategic move that Combs made in coordination with his team, but rather a spontaneous decision on the part of the team. Founder of Bad Boys Records.

On November 16, Ventura sues Combs Allegations of physical and sexual abuse were filed against him in federal court. However, he withdrew the case a day later after both parties reached an out-of-court settlement.

Released by CNN On May 17, a surveillance video from 2016 was released that corroborates a portion of Ventura’s November lawsuit against the entertainment mogul.

The footage showed Combs wearing only socks and a towel around his waist as he brutally beat Ventura in the hallway of a Los Angeles hotel.

Two days after the video was released, Combs apologized on camera in a now-deleted Instagram post, though he did not name Ventura.

“It’s very difficult to reflect on the worst time of your life, but sometimes you have to do that. I was very upset – I went through a very bad time – but I make no excuses,” he said. “My behavior in that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video.”

“I was disgusted when I did it. I’m still disgusted now. I went and got professional help. I started going to therapy and rehab,” Combs admitted.

“I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to being a better person every day. I’m not apologizing. I’m truly sorry.”

However, Combs’ apology video was criticized by Ventura’s legal team.

“Combs’ recent statements are more about himself than about the people he hurt,” Meredith Firetog, a partner at the law firm Wigdor LLP, which is representing Ventura, told Fox News Digital.

“When Cassie and several other women came forward, he denied everything and suggested his victims were just looking for money. When he was forced to ‘apologize’ only after his repeated denials were proven false, it shows his pathetic desperation, and no one will be swayed by his disingenuous words.”

Combs is currently facing five lawsuits accusing him of sexual assault, sex trafficking, abuse and other illegal activities. The legend has denied all allegations against him.

In May, former fashion student April Lampros filed a lawsuit against Combs in New York, alleging he sexually assaulted her in the 1990s.

Combs is also being sued by Liza Gardner, Jane Doe, Joi Dickerson-Neal and the music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones,

Meanwhile, Combs’ posts on X (formerly Twitter) have not been removed, though his last update on the platform was on February 4.

However, a December 6 post in which Combs defends himself His plea challenging the allegations made in the lawsuit filed last year is posted at the top of his ex-wife’s page.

“Enough is enough,” he wrote.

Combs added, “Over the past few weeks, I have sat idly by as people attempt to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy. I have been accused of some of the most disgusting things by individuals looking to make a quick buck.”

“Let me be absolutely clear: I have not done any of the horrible things I’m being accused of. I will fight for my name, my family, and the truth.”
