“I ask for the full cooperation of the federal government to ensure that any noncitizens left on Texas voter registration rolls are identified,” Paxton said in a statement. “The Biden-Harris Administration is legally bound to assist states in doing so, and it is imperative that we use every tool available to preserve the integrity of our elections.”

“While I have no doubt that the majority of voters on the list are citizens who are eligible to vote, I am equally sure that Texans have no way of knowing whether any of the voters on the list are noncitizens who Ineligible to vote or not,” Paxton wrote in the letter.
