UFOs go from taboo subject to presidency: Institute says ‘It’s time to include UAPs in elections’


The next President of the United States should be asked if he will release? UFO-related documentsThe New Paradigm Institute says.

The once taboo subject, which forced whistleblowers like Bob Lazarus into exile, has become the subject of a social media campaign pressuring debate moderators to ask each 2024 candidate questions about their willingness to make the files public.

“The next president of the United States will make important decisions about UAP disclosure and government transparency,” Daniel Sheehan, chief counsel at the New Paradigm Institute, said in a June 12 statement.

“It’s time for all presidential candidates – Joe Biden, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and Donald Trump – to commit to UFO/UAP disclosure and transparency. … Regardless of political affiliation, it’s time to include UAPs in the political discourse of our elections.”

Rep. Tim Burchett, R-Tennessee, told Fox News Digital in an earlier interview that documents related to UFOs, or UAPs (unidentified anomalous phenomena), are “so fragmented that we’ll never get to the bottom of them.”

Freeing everything from secrecy would require a “commander in chief who says enough is enough.”

That’s why the New Paradigm Institute, an organization dedicated to publicly releasing UFO-related files, launched a social media campaign to convince the moderators of the next presidential debate to include a question about UFOs.

“Presidential candidates should be asked if they will commit to UAP disclosure and government transparency,” Sheehan said, adding that the June 27 debate would be the “perfect forum” for the public to learn the candidates’ stances.

The UFO subject has been a constant subject of interest In CongressBecause a bipartisan effort is pressuring government agencies to release the files.

“It’s simple. They spend all this time telling us they don’t exist, then release the files, damn it. … We just have to get this all out there. Let’s clear the air. And move on,” the Tennessee Republican said in a previous interview with Fox News Digital.
