The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the UP Police Constable answer key 2024 for the exam to be held on August 23. Candidates can check and download the provisional answer key from the official website of UPPBPB at uppbpb.gov.in. They have time till September 15, 2024 to file objections against the provisional key. If any discrepancy is found in the questions or answer options, candidates can file their objections online along with the required documents or information.
The UP Police constable written exam was conducted in two phases: the first phase took place on August 23, 24, and 25, while the second phase took place on August 30 and 31, 2024. The exam was held at 1,174 centres spread across 67 districts of the state.
Each phase was divided into two shifts: morning shift from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and afternoon shift from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. During Phase I, a total of 2.91 million candidates participated, and in Phase II around 1.93 million candidates appeared for the exam.

UP Police Constable Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

Candidates willing to join UP Police as constables must have a thorough knowledge of the selection process and prepare accordingly. The selection process consists of four stages:

  • Written Exam
  • Physical tests like Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

UP Police Written Exam: Check Details

The General Hindi questions in the written exam are available in both Hindi and English, while the questions in other sections are in Hindi only. UP Police Constable Selection Process 2024: Physical Test

The UP Police Constable selection process 2024 consists of two physical tests. Stage 1 is the physical measurement test, in which height, chest and weight are measured. The criteria are different for male and female candidates, as mentioned in the table below:
