1. Don’t use the X-ray as a shoe-fitting tool
The first of Washington’s strangest laws is against using X-ray machines for non-medical foot measuring purposes.
This is stated in Washington Revised Code Section 70A.388.190.
The law states, “The operation or maintenance of any X-ray, fluoroscopic, or other apparatus or instrument which utilizes roentgen rays in the fitting of shoes or other footwear or in viewing the bones in the feet is prohibited. ”

“This prohibition does not apply to any licensed physician, surgeon, *podiatrist, or any person practicing a licensed healing art, or any technician working under the direct and immediate supervision of such persons.”
2. One should not hug while driving

3. Do not harm the carrier or racer pigeon
Washington law prohibits the harming of a carrier or racer pigeon.
The law states that breaking this law is a “Class 1 civil infraction.”
In Washington, it is unlawful for any person, other than its owner or his authorized agent, to knowingly shoot, kill, maim, injure, molest, trap, or detain any Antwerp Messenger or racing pigeon, which Commonly called ‘carrier or’. “Racing pigeons shall have the name of their owner imprinted on their wings or tail or have a band or ring on their leg bearing the owner’s name or initials or an identification or registration number,” the law reads.
