Zsa Zsa Gabor, whose birth name was Sari Gabor, was a well-known actress whose life was closely watched by the general public.
Although she was recognized for several of her film roles, particularly her early Projects like “Moulin Rouge” (1952), “Lilly” (1953) and “Queen of Outer Space” (1958), her personal life was tumultuous, particularly her multiple marriages and divorces.

1. Burhan Belge
Gabor was married before her first marriage came to the United States.
She married Turkish diplomat Burhan Belge in 1935. She was also known as Sari during her marriage to Belge.
The pair remained married until 1941, when she moved to the United States and left her husband behind.
According to the BBC, she was crowned Miss Hungary in 1936, just before her marriage to Belz, but was disqualified for lying about her age to enter the competition.
2. Conrad Hilton
Gabor’s second marriage came in 1942 when she married Conrad Hilton, a businessman and founder of Hilton Hotels.
Gabor and Hilton were married from 1942 to 1947.
Gabor’s only child from this marriage was Francesca Hilton. She was born in March 1947 and died in January 2015 at the age of 67.

In Gabor’s 1991 memoir, “One lifetime is not enough,” She claimed that her pregnancy was the result of Hilton raping her.
3. George Sanders
Actor George Sanders and Gabor married shortly after Gabor’s marriage to Hilton ended.
Sanders and Gabor were married in 1949 and divorced in 1954.
He later married Gabor’s older sister Magda. Reportedly, Gabor encouraged the couple’s marriage.
“Magda is rich. She’s very lonely, and you’re lonely, too,” Gabor told Sanders, according to the book “Finding Zsa Zsa: The Gabors Behind the Legend”, Written by Sam Staggs. “You need each other, you can help each other.”
According to Vanity Fair, the marriage only lasted six weeks.
4. Herbert L. Hutner
Gabor then married investment banker and lawyer Herbert L. Hutner in 1962. They remained married until 1966.
Hutner chaired the President’s Advisory Committee on the Arts Ronald Reagan According to the Los Angeles Times, he was a member of the George H. W. Bush administration. After marrying Gabor, he moved to Los Angeles, where he focused more on investment banking.
After his marriage to Gabor, Hytner married another actress, Julie Redding, in 1969. They remained together until her death in 2008.
5. Joshua S. Cosden Jr.
Gabor’s marriage to Joshua S. Cosden Jr. was brief.
They were married in 1966, shortly after her separation from Hytner. She wore a white dress, white gloves and a large veil to the ceremony. Cosden Jr., a Texas oil tycoon, and Gabor were divorced in 1967.
Cosden’s father, Joshua S. Cosden Sr., was often referred to as the “Prince of Petroleum”.
6. Jack Ryan
Gabor had another brief marriage to Jack Ryan.
Ryan was the vice president of research and design at this company. Toy company Mattel.

Although many credit Mattel co-founder Ruth Handler with being the creator of Barbie, Ryan’s daughter Ann Ryan has claimed her father was the real creator of the infamous doll, as he was the man behind the doll’s design.
Ryan and Gabor were married from 1975 to 1976.
7. Michael O’Hara
Michael O’Hara, a divorce lawyer, met Gabor when he was representing her During a divorce with Ryan.
The couple married just days after her divorce proceedings were finalized at the Las Vegas Hilton in 1976. By 1983, Gabor had divorced her seventh husband.
8. Felipe de Alba
This was Gabor’s shortest marriage to date, lasting only one day.

She and Felipe de Alba were married at sea in 1983.
According to the BBC, this marriage was soon annulled, as his final divorce with O’Hara had not yet been finalized when he married de Alba.
9. Friedrich Prinz von Anhalt
Gabor’s ninth and final marriage was to German-American businessman Friedrich Prinz von Anhalt. The businessman became Prince Frederick through adoption at the age of 35.
“I was adopted by Germany’s most famous princess (Marie Auguste von Anhalt),” von Anhalt said, according to the New York Post. “I played soccer with her grandson, and he moved to South America. I was the black sheep of my family. I was adopted by the daughter of Germany’s last emperor.”
According to Page Six, the German monarchy was abolished in 1918, so although he still has his title, the “oligarch no longer has any power.”
Gabor was married to von Anhalt from 1986 until her death in December 2016.
In an effort to find a successor, he adopted an adult son in 2022 and documented A&E’s experience with “adult adoption by adults.”
“I tried really hard to find somebody,” von Anhalt previously told Fox News Digital. “And then the show came along and said, ‘We can help you.’ I felt like it was the right thing to do, to get more people involved. Because of the show, it was a lot easier to find the right person.”
They adopted 27-year-old Kevin Feucht, who had met Gabor before her death.

Von Anhalt stood by his wife’s side, even though she was involved in controversies during their married years, such as her arrest in 1989 after slapping a police officer in the face during a traffic stop. She spent three days in jail following the incident.
